shower locations in west suburbs??

I am looking for a nice restaurant/place that has a private room for about 20 guests in late November to have my baby shower (Chicago Nest doesn't have many people on it, so I thought to try here since bridal/baby shower locations are the same).

I want to have a lunch but not too expensive.  The one restaurant I thought to have it, a cousin beat me to it & had hers there.  I am looking in the west burbs somewhere around Woodridge, Downers, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Darien, etc.

We had our shower of  around 80 people at Francesca's at the Promenade in Bolingbrook last October.  It is very easy to find at I55 & I355.  We used the entire restaurant, but they have a beautiful private room that is for smaller groups. The food was DELICIOUS and plentiful, the staff and management went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests.  They have plenty of free parking, which was also a plus, and it's easy to find.  For the amount of food and good service you get, it was very reasonably priced. They have a few packages to choose from, and they are willing to switch/add items.  Danielle was our event coordinator.

There are plenty of locations in OakBrook mall such as Wildfire and The Clubhouse. Both are delicious!

I totally second The Clubhouse in Oakbrook. I had my bridal shower there and it was really inexpensive for the location and service we got. Everybody loved the food and service and the ambience is gorgeous!! Megan Relaz was our coordinator there.

    Hi,

First, I planned my friend's shower for about 28 ppl back in June at Blackfinn in downtown Naperville.
Pros: you get the entire 3rd floor to yourself with your own private bar!....you have access to your own patio....have 3 tvs (I made a slideshow and had it loop the entire time - everyone loved it!).....AMAZING food....easy to work with (let me come before they opened so I can decorate)....choice of plated or buffet (we did buffet and the food was AMAZING)....reasonable prices.
Cons: on the third floor and parking situation bad for people bringing big gifts (yes they have an elevator and a loading dock in the back, but ppl had to lug gifts up and for me helping at the end to bring everything DOWN, a pain in the ass. Same thing with the parking. Yes, free street/lot/deck parking, but thank god it was a nice day out...rain or bad weather could make ppl resent having to walk to the venue.

Second, I'm having 2 showers next month for my bridal showers:  I'm having my 20 person shower at Emmitt's in downtown Downers Grove. I love that place. Was my second pick for my friend's shower. My second shower is going to be at Angeli's Italian Restaurant in Naperville. I've never been there, but my FI loves that place.

Third: I highly recommend the following places: Suparossa in Woodridge - cheap and very cute place......Ballydoyle in Downer's Grove - for a rustic/Irish feel.....Seven Bridges Golf Course - good prices for an elegant affair.

  • Check out Biaggis in Naperville. It is nice and has a private dining room.  Or Maggianos is always a good go too. I know their brunch prices are relatively inexpensive.
