(NWR) Just want to brag a little...

I just got accepted in the radiology tech program at school! I'm so super excited about this! I can't wait to start making (better) money doing what I love! Its my first time applying, and I got in just a couple weeks after putting my application in. Other people I've talked to, said it took them around 3 years to get in.

Any way, it seems so silly to brag about, now that I'm doing it, but I haven't told any one but FI, and I wanted to tell someone!!!

On another note... Its snowing so bad here right now... It was so beautiful just a couple days ago, and now, cold wet snow, and I think its gunna be deep too :-(  Damn...

    That's what I do!  Congratulations!  Is it an associate's degree or bachelor's degree program?  Let me know if you have any questions.  I've been doing it for about 5 years now!  Congrats again!

    Oh cool, I'm excited to have someone I can ask questions!!! yay, Its an associates, but I hope to take it further later. Just depends on the family. I'm already kinda stressing going back to school, its hard when you have a little one!!!



    btw, the snow just blocked my satellite signal... so my movie day on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket has just been ruined.... :-(

    Yeah, that's gotta be tough!  You can do it though, and you'll be thankful you did when it's all said and done! I originally got my associates degree now I'm working on my bachelors.  It is tough to go back especially when you've graduated once, but I'm finding that it is worth it.  I'm a firm believer that you can never have too much education.

    That's so exciting, congratulations!  The little sister of one of my best friends is in a radiology program here in New England, and some of her stories are pretty hysterical :)

    That is so great! I know that around here it is very hard to get into that program because they only select a very small group of people. One of my friends tried for three years before she decided to move on to something else. It is so exciting that you got in on your first try!!

    Yeah, they only take 33 people per acceptance period! Its a real confidence booster! Sometime as a Single mother the world gets you down... but finally my life is going up up up!
