Looking for a Good Affordable Photographer in Austin, TX

Hi
I am looking for a Good Affordable Photographer in Austin, TX that  won't break the bank and keep me on budget. Looking in the $1,500 -$1,800 and gives you the option of having a DVD with all images.

ANY GOOD SUGGESTIONS OR REFFERALS?

I found my photographer (Christina Carroll) by using the local vendor feature on The Knot. You can search by price, which helped me a lot. Unfortunately she is no longer in your price range, but try searching in the 1000-1999 range and see if you like anyone. Good luck, and I am sure other girls will be chiming in!

Yanbug...see my thread from a couple of days ago.  Lots of good suggestions.  I've contacted several photographers that were recommended and am meeting with them next week.

Ditto for ne, I posted about my photographers a couple of days - love them. I selected them via the internet (we have a video conference!) but was in town over the holdiays and did an engagement session. I had a blast. We did the south congress area. They are in your price range - and I got a note that they will be setting up a "free" photo booth/portrait station for my guests. I am so excited about that - because a stand alone photo booth is NOT in my budget. Felt like I got a christmas present. www.jmarkphotography.com

Chloe Pix Photography gives the DVD for free if you purchase an Engagement or Bridal Session. She starts at $1000 so you could definitely get a great package for your price range.

Check out the Austin Knotties web site for a list of popular vendors, as well as the Knottie Love page, where you'll find a list of fellow knotties offering wedding services.
    Good luck! :)

We went with AJH Photography.  He was budget friendly when we booked him last June.  Check out his site:

Suggest you talk to Jacob Dylan Studios - they have a website.  They were willing to take all the shots we wanted, and more importantly, were terrific at capturing all the little moments that "just happened."  Their prices were excellent and they were extremely conscientious in covering every part of our wedding.

Try Chelsey Schrader. I like her photos. She uses lots of different angles and has a few packages that are very affordable.
