I need a reception hall or something that is not that pricey in San Gabriel Valley since my wedding is in the same city. So far everything I see is over $3000! Does anyone know of something nice but around the price of 1500-2000?
Which city is your wedding in? I would try looking at smaller hotels, masonic lodges, churches w/ large facilities, etc. If it's in San Gabriel the Pasadena Masonic Lodge might be an option in terms of driving. I don't know how much it costs, but I've been in the rooms and they're very nice.
Check out the banquet hall at Eden Bar & Grill in Old Town Pasadena. It's a converted chapel next door to the restaurant so doesn't have the reeption hall feel. It can hold approx 120 and is the most affordable I found in the area & really good food. Full service & set up & food all inclusive. Am having my reception there.

In Azusa, there is the Lindley-Scott House.
