DJs in Lexington

I am looking for a DJ in the Lexington area who is good and reasonably priced. We have set up our budget and a DJ isn't something that we want to spend a ton of money on. We are looking at spending around $400 or $500. Is that unreasonable for the area or does anyone know of someone in that range we could hire? Everyone we talk to want's like $1500 -- which is way more than we plan on spending!

    Mike Grubb is a good DJ, I think he works for AAA entertainment. Good price.

    We used Agency Entertainment based in Georgetown.  Their basic package runs around $100/hr, I think.  They did a good job with things.  The billing was through our venue, so I'm not sure the final total, but depending on how many hours you need them to be playing music, I think it would be pretty reasonable.

    We're going to use Keith Brockman through Affairs to Remember. Very affordable & Dawn's really nice.
