Holiday Inn/Best Western Hazlet, NJ

Has anyone stayed at either or has experience dealing with either?  Looking for a hotel to block off rooms for our Dec. wedding and the reviews I've read online are kind of scary.  Don't really want to make our friends and family stay too far away but I'm afraid I should maybe look in Woddbridge or Edison.  Thanks in advance for any input!!

    I live very close both of these hotels and I would not recommend the Best Western in Hazlet. Not only is it in the parking lot of a Friendly's - the outside just isn't appealing either and it's on a VERY busy highway (Route 35). The Holiday Inn is fairly new and is in a much better area!

    Thanks that is helpful! I think I will check out the Holiday Inn and see if we just pop in if they can show us a room before they have a chance to plan for it.
