TGIF!!!

I'm leaving work early today and i have my makeup trial at 1:30, then a wedding tonight.
Sat- FI and i have to get up early for another wedding that he is the best man in, so thankfully the bride said i can get ready in the bridal suite bc by the time we get there she will be all ready=)
Sun- breakfast/brunch with the wedding party, come home from the wedding and get ready for Monday!

I took FI to work this morning and this evening we're going to his coworkers' house to play some board games (we're gamer geeks). I'm hoping we can have the opening cermonies for the Olympics on too but I'm DVRing it just in case (which reminds me I need to clear a few things out and set the DVR).

Tomorrow I work, but not at my store. FI and I have our second meeting with the Pastor on Monday so sometime over the weekend we have to do the HW she gave us (ever the procrastinators lol). We've got a bunch of things that probably need to get scheduled soon. I can't believe its almost August.

BTW Cathy, since you're a Steelers fan too you'll get a kick out of this. Yesterday was 86 days til our wedding (10/20) so I texted FI and told him it was Hines Ward day and wore a Steelers shirt. Steelers play the Bengals in Cinci on the 21st for SNF and I soo want to get tix to that game.

Today I'm going to a play date with a little girl who is almost 2. My friend just had a baby a few weeks ago so I'm going to see big sister. Tonight we are staring 30 Day Shred.

Tomorrow I'm going to work out and then clean. My best friend is coming next weekend for my shower so I need to get the place cleaned up.

Suday I'm probably cleaning some more and working on finishing the wedding invitations.

We're not doing much this weekend which is a welcome change from our jam packed weekend last week. I decided to sleep in instead of getting up early to work out, so I need to get a workout in tonight. Tomorrow FI is working overtime so my plan is to get all the materials I need to make the bridesmaids gifts. Sunday FI is working overtime too but I think it would be nice to see a movie so we'll see how tired he is.

Yay! Engagement pics tonight so I'm getting ready to drive an hour to my hairdressers where she's going to do my hair and I also have my makeup trial by her worker. I'm also going to the nail salon to get my polish changed to a neutral color. Then I'm driving another hour to the town that were having pics in! Stopping by Walmart afterwards to see if this one has the ribbon for the rest of my invites....And back to the lake. Tomorrow were probably boating. Sunday we start marriage counseling and I'm super nervous and excited. I really don't know what to expect!

Grocery shopping with my mom and grandma today and then hair trial at 2:45 and epics and hour away at seven,. Praying for no rain!

Tomorrow FI and I have a meeting with our pastor and will hopefully start to talk about some ceremony details, and then I have to go in to work for a little bit. I feel like FI and I made some sort of plans for saturday evening but I cannot remember honestly, lol. The puppies reallllly need a bath, so that needs to get done. Hopefully I can make it to the gym tomorrow because it is not going to happen today

Sunday I work again and then after that I am not really sure.

Tomorrow we will be sending our invites out!!!! Then probably doing a whole lot of nothing. Monday I will heading up to Albany (which is where our closest Target, Hobby Lobby, etc are) and doing some wedding shopping. I was supposed to meet my friend but she had something come up, so it will be a me day.

Tonight, FI and I are having a date night

I'm really excited because we haven't gone out just him and I in a long time.

Tomorrow, I want to hit the gym in the morning, then who knows what we will do. We had a bridal shower to go to, but since we have my stepdaughters this weekend, it's not the best idea to take them with us and we can't find a sitter. At night, it's my little cousin's birthday party, so we are going to that.

Sunday, I'd like to hit the gym again and clean the house for sure! It gets so messy when we have the kids. Need to do laundry as well. I'll probably work on the invitations some more too.

The weekend started last night with FI playing a gig out at a bar and a whole bunch of friends came, including our best man, who lives very out of town but was home for the week for our tasting and some family stuff. Best man is, well, the best, and I miss him now that he's out of state.

Tonight FI is playing another gig out of town (life of a rockstar, tough tough), so I'm on my own. I think I'm going to get together with a few girlfriends, but nothing set in stone yet. I definitely want to try and catch the opening ceremonies, but I don't have DVR.

Tomorrow is my first shower, thrown by FSILs and FMIL. I'm super excited! It should be a small affair, just their family, and one FSIL is hosting at her house. FI will probably spend time with his dad while I'm there (they live across the street from the hostess), then we're going to try and see best man for a bit while he's home. At night, we're getting together with friends for dinner and to hang out in their backyard.

Sunday I'm going out of town for a friend's bridal shower. FI is going to sleep in! He's responsible for dinner though, since I won't get home until the evening, so I think BBQ bacon chicken pizza with a honey crust is in our future from the pizzeria down the street.

Aimee, have fun at your shower!!
I'm supposed to go to the beach tomorrow so I'm hoping that the weather holds up. If not, there's not much going on this weekend. I have a bunch of WR things I could do, so it'll probably be a lot of that and cleaning the house. Between FI and I, every weekend in August has something WR going on, so I want to take advantage of the last quiet weekend we have for a while. I really wish that we had our invites so that I could start working on those. Oh well.

I work until 8 tonight, and then FI and I might go grab a drink or see a movie.

Tomorrow we're going to German Fest in Milwaukee. Good beer, brats, and polka music!! Can't wait!

We're also sending invties out this weekend! Then the seating chart/escort card fun begins!

Tonight just relaxing and going to bed early.

Tomorrow we are doing the 14 miles hike up Mt. Baldy. This means waking up at the crack of dawn and it will be a long day.

Sunday I have put my foot down that we have to register. I think we are going to do Macy's. Then we will probably be helping some friends move a little too.

Today I think will be cleaning, and then may be a movie with FI. Saturday I work so no big placs then . Sunday I will probably be helping my mom get some stuff ready for my shower next saturday. I know I shouldn't be helping, but I lke doing that kinda stuff, so NBD.

This is hysterical!! I love it. I am dying to see a Steelers game. I have never been to a game before. I was so jealous of FI because he went to Seattle to see a Seahawks game and sat at about the 50 yard line!! He was on the away saide and even got to heckle the players.

Anyway what do I have going on this weekend? Tonight and tomorrow is the gym since we missed a full workout yesterday since our regular gym had no power. Boo! We are also planning on heading the Albany to Chipoltes and a movie. Then Sunday we are going to the Monticello Motor Club which should be really neat. Its an invite only event and its like a high-end country club for people with nice cars. (Think Porsches and Bugattis with an intiation fees starting at $35K plus yearly membership fees of $3k+.) Going to the event is a surprise for FI's b-day and I hope he likes it. :)

I'm just going out for a couple drinks with FI tonight. Tomorrow I need to weigh these invites and get postage, so I can send these puppies out! Hopefully we can go wedding band shopping tomorrow also. Then I have a bachelorette party for an old friend that night. Sunday I have my first goat show of the year, I have goats fyi if you're confused. I'll have a show every weekend from now until mid September! That is going to seriously make wedding checks hard to accomplish.

I don't have transportation for us figured out yet partially b/c I want to ride in a classic or fancy car, not just a regular limo. We have a classic car dealership in town but I don't think they'll go for that type of thing *sad face*</div>

I'm so glad it's Friday!
Tonight I'm going to go home and relax and do nothing. It has been a super stressful week for me and I need some serious downtime.
Saturday-Hoping to hit the gym and then maybe go dress shopping for my bridal shower at the end of August.
Sunday-Spending the afternoon with my grandmother and then hopefully FI and I will have a date night.

I saw someone else post about a naked Sunday. She should have credit, I am totally stealing that for my whole week-end! Should be easy, my luggage was stolen from the airport when I returned this week from vacation - casual clothes, all my bathing suits, make-up, all gone.

I am going to 'make' FI hook up the printer so we can do invites. I need to get my dress to Mother's. I bought a garment bag when I picked it up Wednesday, and it is still hanging in the car.

I am glad it is Friday!

Call the Packard Museum in Dayton!! I know they do weddings, and they have some beautiful classic cars. 937-226-1710

As for my weekend, I'm off work, for now. I might end up going in for on Sunday morning to make up the hours I missed this afternoon (we were over-staffed) and Monday (our ride was down most of the day and they sent all but 1 person home). Some good friends of ours are coming down tonight and staying through Monday, so we'll spend some time with them. Tomorrow, FI and I are going to Walmart to get more ribbon for our invites and to do our registry. His family won't shop anywhere but Walmart (mainly because it's the only store within a 30 minute drive) so we know if we want to get anything from his side we need to register there. We also need to edit our Kohl's registry - we made it before I went through all my stuff in storage and discovered my ex-husband made off with most of my kitchen stuff. And I'm hoping to get our invites either finished or close to finished, and get more work done on my brooch bouquet.

Tomorrow we are going to a county fair, gonna go see Rodney Atkins and Casey James in concert and then out to dinner at our favorite Mexican Restaurant...Sunday my FI is finally getting his tux taken care of, and then might go out to our wedding venue to check out the area and get ideas for our wedding pictures.
