7 month mark!!

I can't believe how quickly time is going by, I've already been engaged for 5 months!

My dress came in yesterday and I'm actually kind of nervous to go get it! I hope I love it as much as I remember. I'm bummed because my Mom can't come with me to pick it up since she lives 3 hours away.

    I know, it's going pretty quick! On the 19th we would have been engaged for 7 months, which is about our halfway mark since we are getting married on the 18th. 

    I thought the same thing about my dress, amd I loved it when I saw it, but when I put it on, it was so huge I almost cried. Now I just have to worry about alterations not changing the look of the dress (which everyone is assuring me it won't, but I'm still so nervous!). I'm sure you'll fall in love with it all over again!

    I have a feeling that will happen to me too! I lost about 15 lbs since I ordered it, but I think it's better that its too big than too small. When are you starting your alterations? I know I have to take it somewhere else because the place I bought it doesn't do alterations.

    FI's aunt used to work at a bridal shop, so I am going to show her pictures of the dress and details at Chrismas time and probably start alterations in Jan/Feb? FMIL suggested Feb/March but it makes me nervous to wait any longer than that.
