Colored Ice

We are having large drink displayes at the wedding, with the beverages sitting in the ice.  I am thinking of trying to put submersible LED lights in the bottom of the tubs, hoping to make the ice light up in different colors.  Has anyone tried this?  Does it sound like a plausible idea?

    No idea. Sounds very pretty though. I'd do a test run before the big day to see if it works.

    Yes this works great for small vases filled with water/ ice, so I imagine if you use a lot of submersible lights, it would look fantastic!

    Colored ice sounds great! I recently tried this fabulous new cranberry garnish! Stunning in champagne! Sweet & delicious! Impress your guests by serving something beautiful and elegant! Beautiful red color! Would complement your ice perfectly!
