Airbrush makeup vs. regular makeup

So I've booked a reputable airbrush makeup artist/salon for me and my wedding party. I've heard very good things about airbrush makeup, but recently heard that it can be quite dramatic and completely change the way you look. Anyone have experience wtih airbrush makeup and what are your thoughts?

I am going to be doing a trial soon, just wanted some opinions.

    Also had Airbrushed make-up it's well worth the cost. Mine was done around 10AM and I still had to wash it off at 11PM. And this was in 90 degree SC weather.

    I had airbrush as well.  I am so happy that I did!  It turned out great..it even my skin out and provided a great base layer for the eyeshadow and blush.  It stayed put all day and into the next day.  I got my makeup done at about 11am and still had to wash it off at noon the next day.

    Well worth the cost!  I loved it!! As the other bride it still stayed on the next day!  LOVED it!
