A red kitchen aid mixer!! This is the number 1 thing I wanted off my registry and I got it. Im super excited and so ready to start baking everything!!!

    That's awesome! FI's mom asked him what we wanted for Christmas (she's planning ahead haha) and FI told her we wanted our mixer...I can't wait! Now you have to bake lots! No excuses hehe

    Well thats awesome that she's planning on getting it for you BEFORE the wedding!!! Im so excited to bake so many cool items with it. We should have baking parties!! LOL

    Oh man! That's amazing!! I have a stand mixer (wish it was kitchenaid) and I loveee it and use it all the time! :) You're totally going to love using that bad boy!

    I don't even bake really and I still use my mixer a lot.  They're so nice to have.

    YES!! I got my beautiful red kitchenaid mixer at my bridal shower. SO awesome!! I have already made homemade italian bread and yellow cake with chocolate icing. The best!! Your co-workers rock!

    Whhat? I wasn't aware you couldn't use bridal shower gifts before the actual wedding took place? Lol, clearly I am out of the etiquette loop.

    Yep.  If the wedding is canceled for any reason (yep, any reason) you're supposed to return the gifts to the giver.  So, the rule of thumb is not to use the gifts so that you're able to return them should something happen.
