I had a very bad experience with the plus size online retailer so named Figuresque.
I was looking for something sexy to wear on the Honeymoon, but being a 40C, finding anything in a "regular" store is difficult at best. My matron of honor got me a sexy litttle thing to wear from Victoria's but it's an XL, and no WAY is it going to fit my fat ass. SO in a deep funk, I searched the internet and came upon the website mentioned.
I was trilled to see they carried hard to find sizes in some very sexy dare I say scandalous stuff. Happy I was to find a pink corset and black stockings, with matching ruffled boy shorts. Pink and black an awesome color combo for wrestling fans such as us.
I payed extra for expedited shipping seeing how the wedding is like next week.
I get an email from the company two days later saying the order is on hold, due to the boyshorts being out of stock. Ok....so why did they like other normal online retailers, just send out what was in stock. I sent them an email immediately stating to send the rest of the order.
I get an email with a tracking number for.... the stockings only. I lost it and sent them another very pointed email as to how unprofessional they are, and how process id serioulsy f***ed up, not in those words but they'll be able to tell I'm pissed.
SO long story short, don't wait til the last minute to order stuff, and in hindsight a brck and mortar store might have been a better option, but unfortuantely due to my size not a possibility.
I am beyond dissapointed that I'll be wearing my usual ratty old pajamas on the honeymoon. I was hoping to feel sexy and look as such for my fiance but why bother.
I've turned my wedding savings account into my new plastic surgery fund. because this is an unfriendly world for the bigger people in it, especially women. I guess I have to change this body in order to fit in it and be treated as somthing other than second class and a freak. Sigh.
