Shower games

I'm helping throw a shower, and they want me to find some shower games.  I haven't been to a shower since i was 9, so i really really don't remember what games to play.  I did some googling but what games do you like to play at a shower?

You could do the ever popular 20 questions. You ask the Groom 20 questions related to himself and the Bride has to answer them - each one she gets wrong she has to chew a piece of bubble gum.

There's also the toilet paper dress game. Get a few groups of the girls together and have one picked out to be dressed up and the girls have to design a dress out of the toilet paper and the Bride gets to choose the winner.

I've also seen the household objects game. You put random, everyday household objects (stuff people would know) and put them in a brown paper bag and number the bags. The number depends on you (I'd say at least 10 though) and they pass around the bags and feel it to guess what's inside and write it down. The one who gets the most right wins.

One of my fav things to do at a shower is the icebreaker of Introducing yourself, tell how you know the bride and then share your favorite moment with the bride. I LOVE doing hearing the favorite moments. It gives great insight on the bride's personality and lots of the stories are pretty funny and entertaining!

I love doing 20 questions like blondette suggested. My favorite question, "What disney movie describes your relationship?" Always entertaining!!

I've also done famous celebrity couples and make sure you have couples for all generations. Have people match up the names.

Another great hit is purse bingo. It's great especially if you have younger kids at the shower because they can play this too. Give everyone a blank bingo card and have them fill out what they think is in the bride's purse. Then have her pull one thing out at a time and mark the box, whoever has a bingo first wins!

Wow, what a great suggestion of games! And I love the idea of introducing yourself with a favorite story about the bride. My aunt is throwing a shower fo rme in a couple of weeks and I kind of wish I could pass these suggestions on!
