Wednesday Accountability

Hello ladies! It's late, I'm surprised no one else got this going yet.

B-black coffee
L- most of a bag of grapes
D- 3 handmade turkey patties grilled with 2 tbs bbq. Chicken Cesar salad from a local dive. That was unplanned. FI's mom was passing through town and stopped and surprise took me out to dinner right after I chowed down my grilled turkey. H'oh well.
Total in-1450 (cringe)

E- 2.5 mile run in 24:36"
Total out- 269

Total for the day= 1181

I planned to crash diet today until Saturday evening after my dress appointments were done. FI's mom bust that on me by surprise showing up and absolutely insisting we go out to dinner together. I'm going to be all sorts of bloated from eating high sodium restaurant food, but that's ok. I'll try again tomorrow.

    B:  Special K protein shake
    L:  yogurt, 100 calorie pack of cheese crackers, granola bar
    S:  tortilla chips
    D:  2 slices of the leftover pizza from last night
    Workout:  walked 5 miles, ran 1/2 mile extra at the end
    Dessert:  kid's size custard at Rita's

  • I did very very very bad today. B: my usual, whole wheat bagel thin with cheese 145calories L: salad with a tablespoon of Italian dressing and a hard boiled egg and one oatmeal raisin cookie. S: apple This is where it gets bad.... D: double cheeseburger and small fry from McDonalds and an orange high-c I haven't had McDonalds in months! I think I'm stress eating because I went on my way home from the hospital. Not good, I am so disappointed in myself. :(

  • I don't know. This place and the FB page were both pretty dead the last day or two.

  • I don't know how I misses this last night but here it is:

    B: usual, breakfast drink
    L: Salad of lettuce, carrots, and peppers (that was all I had left lol) with dressing on the side and half a chicken cutlet. 
    S: A small cup of melon and 2 cookies from those Italian cookie platters.
    D: I went to Fridays.....but I was good! I had one spinich/articoke crispy pita, took all the cheese off, a piece of grilled chicken with pinapple/apricot sauce and steamed broccoli (it was only like a 500 cal meal), and 5 french fries. Drank only water all day. 
    Dessert: Half of an oreo icecream sanwich at Fridays. The whole thing was only 490 cal, and we split it. Not bad for me!

    I havn't been exercising because of this new job this week, plus FI's uncle passed away on Monday and we have the funeral and stuff, but next week once I have a more set schedule I will get back into going for jogs/walks.

  • cnf- how many calories are generally burned if I went for a brisk walk? Like per mile? And about how many per mile if I jog?

    I hope you don't take offense but crash dieting is going to sabotage what you are trying to do and may I suggest eating more than 3 times a day. you shopuld be eating at least 5 small meals a day. If you don't eat enough calories it will do the opposite.

    L- 4 oz. chicken breast, spinach, tomato, cucumber salad (no dressing)
    S- 4 egg white and raw red and yellow peppers
    D- tuna/ 1/2 c. brown rice
    S- protein shake

    Full body weight training and 3 mile run.

  • Breakfast - Go Lean Crunch with half cup 1% milk
    Lunch - Broccoli cheddar lean cuisine dip with Pita Bread & Cherry Coke Zero
    Dinner - 4 oz baked crunchy chicken with 1/2 cup brown rice broccoli & a piece of corn bread w/ vanilla coke zero
    Snack - 2% cheese stick, cherry Italian ice

    We are dog sitting for FI's dad and I chose not to join them on their walk tonight because it actually gave me a break from the dog haha I started reading my new book instead (which is so good by the way!)

    I knoooow. I'm only cutting calories and certain foods for a few days so I can be bloat free and svelte as possible for dress shopping on Saturday. It's not to try and lose weight per say, just kind of suck me in a bit. I have a couple of degrees and licensures in health education, I'm fully aware of what I'm doing and the possible repercussions. I come from a very vocal weight centered family. My mother will make comments about my weight when we go shopping, so the less fat I can look the more at ease I'll feel. I'm also recovering from an eating disorder from my teenage years and am very concisions about my eating habits and am very good at recognising signs of potential relapse. FMIL wants to go to my favorite pasta place for lunch in between appointments and you better believe I'm going to get a bowl to go so I can chow down and replace my glycogen stores post shopping. I plan to go back to my regular calorie and food intake Saturday evening. I know I sound absolutly insane, but my family is crazy when it comes to weight and my ED adled brain doesn't always make the most logical sense to others, but it makes sense to me. 

    rmp, I get my calories burned from my myfitnesspal account. Before I jumped on that bandwagon though, I would use an online calorie burned calculator. I'd suggest googling it and finding one that you like. Look for one that accounts for gender, age, height and weight and it will be fairly accurate.

  • I never get on here after work so I'm always late posting in these the follwoing day but guess it still works. Yesterday I was doing well up until dinner again :/


    E: Morning Insanity Workout
    B: Protein Shake and low fat multi grain waffle with 1 tbs reduced fat peanut butter
    S1: Edamame
    L: Lean Cuisine Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce
    S2: Mini Babybel light and protein shake
    E: Rock Climbing for hour and half
    D: Panda Express panda bowl with orange chicken and fried rice :/

    I also got new running shoes yesterday which is part of what lead ot being next to panda express lol but really excited about them. The store did a gait analysis and did it in different shoes to see what was best and they are so much more comfortable. I'm hoping today I'll be able to see if it helps the pain I've been having in my feet.

  • This has been a total PMS carb craving, chocolate coma week. I could totally go for fettuccine alfredo or Wi Mac n Cheese from noodles right now. Horrible!

    B - Sausage, Egg, & Cheese breakfast muffin and medium iced coffee. Our milk curdled so I had to run to Kwik Trip next door for breakfast and milk for the FI to have for breakfast.
    L - half of a turkey and colby jack sub with lettuce and mayo. a handful of fun size snickers and half a 1.5 liter of Mt. Dew (I know how bad Mt. Dew is, my future aunt is a chiro...she'd have a heart attack if I told her I still drink it on occasion.)
    D - homemade crunchwrap - definitely healthier than T Bell's version. Dessert was a B&J Margarita Cooler.

    E - Was going to walk with the FI, but he works out at the Y after work (I don't get my free membership until after I start my job) so he didn't want to walk with me. :( I need a buddy! Lol.
  • L: Frosted flakes D: Five Guys burgers and fries! S: a few chips. The killer yesterday was 5 guys. But I've been under 1200 every other day this week though.
