Come on, show us your furbabies!

Steph mentioned starting a pet-picture thread, and I love those... so I'll start it off!

Here's my dog, Buckley. I adopted him 3 years ago, and he's appriomximately 5 years old (we think). According to DNA testing, he's a Pomeranian/Irish Terrier/Dachshund mix.

And this is Billy, my FI's cat. He was born on my FIL's farm land, and was so cute as a kitten that FI and I decided to take him back to the city, get him healthy and turn him into a housecat. Yes, it took hundreds of dollars and a whole lot of patience. He's a devious little bugger sometimes, but we love him.

Here is my baby girl, Shiloh.  She is a Lab/American Bulldog (also known as bullador) and will be 3 years old in September.  She is the sweetest dog and would lick you to death if you let her.  And she believes she is a lap dog, although she is 80 pounds.  We love her so much!

I don't have other pics on this computer but mine are in my siggy.  The black and white dog is Bogart.  We adopted him last November (FI's birthday present to me) and he just turned one.  The little brown dog is our baby Shelby and she just turned two.  She is our Million Dollar Puppy and tends to have an overreactive immune system coupled with a tendency to be very accident prone.

I input all her vet bills/damages into an excel spreadsheet once and was very disheartened to discover that I could have bought my "dream" wedding dress 2x over with the money we've spent on her.  Oh well - I would rather have her than a fancy schmancy dress anyway Laughing

This is Duke...our 95lb baby!  He's a yellow lab and about 7-8yrs old.  We adopted him almost a year ago.  He was free to a good home and was a shelter dog found as a stray before that, so we really have no idea about his past.  But he is the best dog.  We love him to death, and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way! Laughing

Here is Hobbes. He is one and very much still a puppy. He's a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, or toller for short.

DH gets to bring him to the office a couple times a week. Once he was so tired and it was super cold in there so DH put a blankey on him. He slept like this for almost 2 hours.

Hanging out in his bed at home waiting for treats:

And one final one from the time I was really bored from studying and decided to dress him up as Doggie Hauser, MD:

Yeah, I pretty much love my dog to pieces. He's my baby.

Just the one puppy, a Goberian (Siberian Husky/Golden Retriever) named Puckett.  He looks a little like one of your wolves! :) (Makes sense, right?)
He's 18 weeks and just hit 20 pounds; They now think he's going to be a good 70-80 pounds (humane society originally told us 50-60. ha.)
This is him on the way home from the AHS:
This is him a week ago (he's so lanky!)

We have one dog - Neeko! He is totally our kid and the closest we will get to having kids for a while.

He weighs about 6 lbs and is trouble :). We were both big dog people before him but he has converted us both.

He also does agility and knows quite a few tricks including "take a bow," "turn around," and "wave."

My FI and I adopted our 8 year old Cocker Spaniel, Lucy about 4 months ago from a rescue :-) She absolutely loves people and will whine and cry if I don't let her greet a person or dog when we're on a walk.

I'll put a pic of her in my siggy :-)

This is our furbaby Gus! He is, and will always be refered to as "My first born". Gus is a purebred Yorkie and was purchased in a financial lapse in judgement when I was looking for a replacement for my BF at the time :) Trust me ladies, Gus was a trade UP!

I got Gus 2 years ago now as a tiny little 1.75lb puppy in Elk River, MN! He is now 4lbs full grown and still adorable as can be.

When I met FI I was nervous he wouldn't be into me having a small fluff dog, but he fell in love with him just as quickly as I had. We are now both proud parents and can't wait to make our family official.

Also, I love all of the cute Yorkies and Yorkie mixes so far. My parents have a Yorkie at home (my furbrother...?) that I love to pieces. If Buckley got along with other dogs, I'd get a Yorkie for sure. Alas, Buckley only likes the company of humans and cats :-)

Lastly, I love the pictures of the puggle with the English Mastiff... because I've always thought a well-bred puggle looks like a teeny tiny English Mastiff.

We have two (big) babies who are absolutely our children and definitely part of the family to everyone who knows us. They are both German Shepherds - Grimace, our boy, is 4 and a sweet, kind, very obedient, super laid back dog, and Izzy, our girl, who is 2 and is totally goofy (as captured by this picture!) and energetic and not-so-obedient, but very, very sweet and loving.

ETA: Izzy & Grimace... hence the not-so-original screenname :)

Love this thread! Here's my kitty, Friski. She is 18 years old, and she is my study buddy. :)

And FI's kitty Bella. She is 3 years old and helps me study sometimes too.

Both were from AHS, Friski as a kitten when I was about 7 (hence the silly name), and Bella when she was about a year.

We have a German Shepherd named Moose that we found on Craig's list last year. He is 4 already. I have enjoyed getting an adult dog, not going through the puppy phase of chewing and accidents was kind of nice.
Here is a shot of him last winter at the dog park. His favorite place in the world!

Here is a shot of him in our kitchen waiting nicely to go outside to chase Chipmunks.

FI and I just got our first dog 3 weeks ago today.  He's my first pet ever, though FI's had cats and dogs all his life.  I don't have any good pictures of him, but his name is Wesley and he's a 1-2 year old beagle/black lab mix.  He looks like a miniature (25 pound) black lab with floppy ears and white on his chest/belly and paws.  We love him soooo much.  He's pretty much the perfect dog for me, low key, not accident-prone, and generally well behaved.  He even sleeps in his own bed and only cuddles up to us when we're on the couch.  Sometimes he doesn't even wake us up in the middle of the night anymore.

I'll post a picture once I can get a decent one of him that doesn't look like a black blob.  My cell phone doesn't take the best pictures.
