Circle D Farm

Has anyone had their wedding here or attended a wedding here? I live in Germany, but am having the wedding in my home state of Maryland, and I need a little bit of help from people who have been to Circle D Farm bc it is hard to plan from far away.  Thanks Girls!!!

I have done neither, honestly, but I visited the site myself as a possible venue and my cousins attended a wedding there last fall and their pictures were lovely. What did you want to know about Circle D?

I have been there for a fundraiser, which was outdoor.  The place looks very nice and the people working there, were very nice!!

I'm getting married at Circle D in October!  The ceremony site they have is very secluded and beautiful.  They have two options for reception... downstairs lounge area and then the upstairs banquet room.  The banquet room is very pretty.  The only "unpretty" thing is a very large cow picture as you're coming up the stairs, but i'm thinking it could possibly be decorated over.  I'll have to ask.  The event coordinator there is excellent.  Her name is Kate Dowd and she is so friendly, sweet, and very helpful with suggestions.  She has tons of photo albums for you to look thru to get ideas of how people decorated in the past.  She even has decorations couples have donated like birdcages, etc that she will let you use.

I'm getting married at Circle D Farm in October as well!

My sister went to a wedding their before I got engaged and called me on the way home and told me when I get married she knew this would be the perfect place because I have always wanted a fall wedding. The photos online just don't do it justice.

The Ceremony Site is BEAUTIFUL! I was luck enough to visit around my wedding date last year and the fall colors were in full bloom. The ceremony area sort of overlooks mountains and the colors are phenominal. The cost was pretty low so we were honestly a little nervous about how the food was going to be. We went to a tasting... SOOOO good!!!!

They have a woman named Donna there that does wedding cakes if you so choose. She baked us samples of the cakes she offered... The Carrot was the best I have ever had, and their ammaretto was also wonderful.

And as posted by Ashtey, Kate Down is the coordinater and I could not say enough good things about her. She always returns my emails promptly, even when I have annoying control freak questions. I couldn't have asked for a better contact person for such an important part of my wedding.

So pretty much, I love it. Good luck!
