Wedding venues for under $1000 in Northern Ky, Greater Cinci area

We are on a tight budget and would like to be able to being our own food or drink,  both would be ideal.  We are open to doing it outdoors and are shooting for Fall 2011.  I would like to stay at around $500 for the venue and have one place in mind,  Pattison Park,  but it is 35 minutes away and they only have Fridays available. Wineries, farms, and historic buildings appeal to us and we expect around 200 guests.  I know I am asking for a lot but any suggestions are much appreciated.  I also want to be bale to do the reception and ceremony at the same place.

I had a friend get married at the Little Red Schoolhouse in Indian Hill.  It was a beautiful (and budget friendly) wedding.  I'll have pictures soon.

The inside is fairly small- they set up the buffet, cake and bar inside.  The ceremony and reception were outside.

Thanks!  I sent them an email.  Do they allow you to bring your own food/alcohol?

The Pattison Lodge is very beautiful I am using that next year for my wedding as well. I wanted a Fall wedding and they were booked up so I took the 1st Saturday in November and am hoping that it isn't too cold. The drive is far but since guests don't have to go to 2 seperate places I think it will be ok. Before we found the Pattison Lodge there are also the Hamilton County Park lodges.

Edited: Sorry they only hold 115 inside at the most.

Thanks,  it is a top contender still.  They book so fast!  I can't even get in to see the place until next week.   I liked Mt. Airy but I just really like the style of the gazebo at Pattison/

Yep, they don't even have caterers.  They did a self cater event.  I'm so excited to see her pics!!

I'm a DIY bride also and my top contender was Pattison Park but once I drove up to view it, I realized that the drive would be too much for my family and friends.  It's a beautiful spot but is not easily accessible.  My main concern was being able to get food there.

I don't know how you feel about having a ceremony and reception inside of a church but we are using St Elizabeth's in Norwood.  It's a beautiful old Catholic Church that Vineyard Central Church now owns.  They rent out the sanctuary space for $500 with a $100 deposit.

Here's a link to their website:

The rental includes the day before for set up and rehearsal and the full day of your event.  The rental comes with 270 chairs and some tables.  Even though it's a church you can serve alcohol and bring it in yourselves.  They have a kitchen with a huge restaurant size fridge that you can use.

They don't have many photos of the interior on their website but it is GORGEOUS.  You can do a quick search on Flickr to find some pictures.  Here's a link:

That also is a good one!  Thanks!  Though we didn't plan to use a church,  I am thinking with our budget we will just have to come some corners and make some compromises,  which I am ok with.  I really wanted a destination wedding myself!  Thanks so much by the way.  It is beautiful.  At first I thought you were talking about the hospital. But I love the pics I can see.
