Fun Mother-Son dance

SO my fiancee isn't stoked about 1st being the center of attention, secondly doing a dance with his mom. So I'm trying to find some songs that are different and not the sentimental mushy ones... I tlaking he was listening to 2Pac "Dear Mama" saying eh would dance with his mom to that.. oh help me!

    Hmm.... so you think he'd be comfortable with the dance if the song was something fun and unusual?  Its worth a shot!  Here are some suggestions that aren't too schmaltzy:

    You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby - Bobby Darin
    Forever Young - Rod Stewart
    Sweet Child O' Mine - GNR
    All You Need Is Love  - The Beatles
    Crazy Mama - Rolling Stones
    What A Wonderful World - Joey Ramone version

    If he doesn't want one, then don't make him have one.

    Why not ask your FMIL if she has any ideas? My MIL choose the song her and H danced to.

    Thanks for song suggestions :) And I'll definitely chat wiht his mom, in which I know that she'll want to do the mother-son dance, so maybe I'll let her figure that out ... take some of the pressure off me
