FI and I have had the flights booked and paid for since I think April, but we hadn't done the hotels. My brother travels a lot for work and his company always puts him in Marriott, so he's got oodles of rewards points built up - enough to cover 7 hotel nights in LA and San Diego!
I've been looking up and budgeting hotels for several days now, and spent a while chatting with my brother earlier and got them all booked using his points. He called the three different hotels to make sure they knew he was giving me the room as a gift and putting my name on it so that I can check us in and they all thought that was really sweet of him and made sure it was set up right.
So that's finished! All we have to do now is fly out there, pick up our rental car and enjoy our honeymoon!
