WWYD?

I had my invitation suite designed by an Etsy seller and then I plan to print at Kinko's. Well, tonight, I took the main invitation piece to be printed and cut to size. When I got them back, they didn't quite cut off all of the black crop mark ink!! (ok, here's my confession.... I asked her to add the crop marks and extend them a bit so I could cut precisely. I didn't realize this was a big no-no for printers).

Now I'm stuck. Do I pay another $50 to get them reprinted & recut (without crop marks) or suck it up and try to shave millimeters off of 150 invitations with my paper cutter?

Cry

I guess it depends if you have $50 to do it again.  Personally, I'd get some snacks and a good movie and sit down in front of the TV and fix it myself.  Then again, Joey designed and printed our invitations while I sat on the floor and cut all of them (the main invitation piece, the RSVP/guest info pocket piece, a matte square and a monogram 'T' to go over the matte square) and pasted it all together.  So, while my back didn't appreciate it, it saved a bunch of money and it was worth it to me.

    Good luck. :-)

Update: I made a pot of coffee, popped in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and cut down each and every invitation. Whew!

I would have said spend the $50 & save the sanity but, I am glad you were able to do it on your own!

FI put the kibosh on spending more $. He had a valid point... if I reprinted it, I would've spent more on a single piece of the invitation suite than it costs for one person to attend the reception.

I haven't watched it since I got engaged. Amazing how your perspective changes once you're planning your own wedding. There were so many times I could relate (although I'm more Ian and FI is the Tullah LOL)

Just do it yourself, not because $50 is too much money because think of all the paper your wasting if you have them reprinted! If anything I'd actually go back to Kinkos and tell them they were not cut properly and have them fix it!
