WEDDING DAY TRANSPORTATION

Next up on the planning list is wedding day/wedding party transportation after the ceremony. I know I don't want a traditional limo because i'd like people to be able to move around a bit and have fun. Ideas?? Places to look??

You could do a Limo Bus These guys have a picture of what it looks like at the bottom of their page.

Or you could do a Trolley. I know there is a place that rents around central Iowa. I have the link on my home computer.

I know you are probably a little far away to use these guys, they are by Charles City.... but they have a couple awesome buses that hold about 25 ppl and come w/ a bartender! They are hard to find on the internet if you don't know where to look though so I thought I would throw this out there for others that might be looking! reasonably priced too!

this is what I'm planning on doing.... It may not be what you are looking for, but it is my surprise wedding gift to my future hubby...

The wedding day, I plan to surprise my hubby with a hot air balloon ride from the ceremony site, a local winery, to our reception site, a few miles away. This will be how we (the bridal couple) get to the reception site. Our bridal party will be taking their own transportation to the reception site. Immediately after, we plan to have our officiant announce something along the lines of "Please join the newly married couple on the front lawn of the winery, for the bride to announce a special gift to the groom, that she would like everyone to witness." Our balloon ride will last about 40 minutes. It will be a special time for us to celebrate becoming husband and wife, and will be a memory that will not be quickly forgotten.
