Rockland ceremony venues??

Hi,
We're getting married in July 2012 and we're looking for a ceremony location in the Rockland area.  We're having our reception at Echo Hill in Thomaston/St George but we'd like to have the ceremony at a different location.  We're planning on renting a trolly to shuttle guests between hotel/ceremony/reception.  We'd prefer an outdoor location (definately not a church) but I'm open to other ideas.  We'd like to keep the ceremony venue rental under 1000 dollars plus the cost of chair rentals.

Any ideas???

    Check out the Camden Amphitheatre - we're getting married there in September, its really pretty and it is well below budget for you.

    Thanks for the suggestion!  I haven't seen it in person, only pictures online and it's hard to get a good idea of the layout of the space.  The picture you posted sets the entire scene and it's beautiful!

    Another beautiful spot is Children's Chapel in Rockport.  It's a gorgeous outdoor spot with plenty of gardens and also a small rustic chapel if you want to use that.  You might want to consider coming in horse & wagon.  There is someone in the area who dresses in a top hat and brings you in a beautiful white wagon and white horse.  Let me know if you need info on vendors in that area.  Congratulations!
