I was thinking under 1000.00 for flowers quotes are coming in 2500 to 4000.00
on flowers i wish i would grocery store flowers it is! one florist goes with your budget
you can spend 3000.00 on  flowers i go lady for 3000.00 i can get the photographer i want but thats not going happen either no vendor is worth 3000.00 but the caterer  am i being cheap or are flowers really expensive i need to learn to diy!

    What does that price include?  You can definitely get flowers from your local grocer or even Sam's Club online.

    Are you looking for centerpiece flowers or bouquets or both? When my friend got married she made her bouquet, bm's bouquets, and centerpieces the night before the wedding using real flowers under $75 from sams club. (sorry pic is small- hers is the pink/white bouquet and bm's are the pink bouquets). for the centerpiece she just put One flower in vase on table with pink lights and mirrors





    I made my own bouquets and bouts using fake flowers under $60. but with everything i added it turned into a $100 project.

    3corsages and 1 ceremony piece

    I also do not like the prices for flowers. I scaped some of my centerpiece ideas to include more candles due to this. I second sam club/costco. Look into fiftyflowers.com as well.  Also, look into women you know what may do this for their churches for arranging. 

    Are the flowers you what in season during your wedding and around the area? 

    Becuase I am not using too many flowers, I do plan to go to a store (Famers market, grocery, whole food, etc) with my mom with $200, get some white flowers (roses, lillies) and make my arrangements, hers, and FMILs. Bouts are real-touch (FIs hayfever and asked for it). I'll use a Do-It-Yourself florist in the area for the centerpieces with flowers. Look for those too in your area.

    because the venue wanted to charge 7000.00 just for the venue in chicago we moved it to philly
    most of my family is in ny anyway. so we found a venue that dosent even have a facility charge that saved us 70000.00 but right to the caterer it goes! well the reception center pieces are just vases and candles and its at 100.00 for everthing i wasnt even thinking about flowers for the reception at all

    this sounds like a LOT to me and I'm right outside of NYC. My florist here (I searched and searched) is charging me $2500 for my bouquet, 6 bm's bouquets, 8 bouts, 3 corsages, 15 tall centerpieces

    I think for what you want it should be $1,000 or less. I thought NYC was one of the most expensive areas but maybe not bc it isnt as cold? But...still keep searching

    Oh, and to add to that...I found that the florists that specialize in weddings and/or do one wedding a day were way higher than the larger florists who do some of everything. It doesnt necessarily mean one is better than the other.

    <div>That would be a hell no. That is WAY too high. I paid $469 for my bouquet which was gorgeous, two BM's bouquets, 2 single stems of long calla lillies for the little ones. 4 wrist corages, 4 bouts. ALL were calla lillies and the corsages were calla lillies and roses mixed. They turned out BEAUTIFUL and I got married in Philly. If you want the name of the florist, you can send me a PM. </div>
