5. Where did you go to college? BSN- Millikin University, MSN from University of Phoenix and working on my Post- Masters FNP from University of Memphis

6. What was your major? NURSING

7. What is your current job? Nursing Instructor

8. What is your dream job? Forensic Nurse- not the one that deals with rape cases or the mentally ill, but the one who is on the crime scene. My saying is that if I wasn't a nurse I'd be a cop

9. How did you and your fiance meet? I like to tell people we met at a gas station, which we did. It was just after we met online.

10. When did you get engaged and how did he do it?? April of 2012. We had just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and were invited to my cousins wedding. She had a small wedding and he said Ours won't be like this. I was like yeah ok. Later that night we were playing zombies of call of duty with my sister and and mutual friend when he brought up the wedding again. I'm like ok yeah so what about it. Once again he says ours won't be like that. I'm like ok. You are aware that you are discussing this infront of family right? He was like yeah I know, as a matter of fact Will you marry me. Ummmmmm dude first of all we are in the middle of killing zombies. I died because I couldn't see. Tears were rolling because I never expected it. Heck I never expected to get married at all.

11. When is the Wedding Day? Sept 7, 2013. He wanted his bday(Sept 8) but its a Sunday and 90% of our guest list has to travel

12. Where is the ceremony and reception? Lakeland, TN at Club Windward

13. What are your wedding colors? Malibu blue, silver, black, white and cream

14. Where are you honeymooning? We are not honeymooning until summer 2014

15. Favorite wedding vendor so far? The new venues coordinator. She is awesome. She has called twice to check on us. AND she's only DOC we have plenty of time but she says she likes to keep her brides stress free so I'm like cool

16. Biggest wedding splurge? I cut the guest list tremendously so nothing is a splurge anymore.

17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? My entire family, but at $50/pp I think not

19. Favorite book? anything by Brenda Jackson

20. Favorite movie? Woo

21. Favorite tv show? too many to list

22. Favorite wedding dress designer? Alfred Angelo

23. Any advice you can give? Don't over do it, if you can't afford it find a way to cut or just not have it. You have to live after the i do's

24. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding? I would make it destination

25. Share something about yourself! I am a closet gamer who loves to kill people virtually. THis is a nightly thing. LOL

Brenda Jackson is one of my favorite AA romance writers. My other favorite is Beverly Jenkins.

Forensic nursing sounds intense! In fact anything nursing is intense to me. That is one hard profession. My mom was a nurse and a very, very good one from all of the accolades she got. She found it very rewarding.

Our weddings are one week apart.

I will be counting down with you. Now if you did have a destination wedding where would it be?

I love beverly too. I read just about anything by black authors. As far as the actual destination i have no clue. Thats nit something groomzilla and i have discussed. And yes the count is on. Both and then we both play games on our phones. Its bad. As for the age difference, I guess I'm kinda following in my moms foot steps because she is 8 years older than my dad. His family is elated that he has met someone who has a level head. He is the first younger guy i have been in a relationship with. Shhhhhhh

Waving to everyone who has commented. Glad I could share. nursing my controller is purple and I have a fit when he plays with it. You know we are lifelong learner a. Ill probably never be done with school. The good part about this time is I will only pay minimal for it since I'm an employee. Happy birthday to all the water babies
