AW--- Cake Toppers, yo!

Sorry, I've had this bad Brooklyn B-boy voice in my head for a few days now, and it comes out at random times.

Anyway, I just had to share the latest wedding news with you girls (and guys). I've got a travel theme for my wedding (see bio), and I've been looking for a themed cake topper for ages. I kept seeing this one image online for a luggage cake topper but I couldn't figure out who made it or where to buy it.

Well, after weeks of sleuthing, I found the etsy vendor who made the original and she's doing mine too! And she's not nearly as expensive as I thought she'd be. 

Here's the original:

Ours will be in our colors and our initals and stuff, but that's the inspiration.

Soooo excited! This has been my wedding fixation for months now, so to finally have it for myself has me super-duper excited. Yaaaay!

So, what are you all planning to do for cake toppers? Include pics if you've got 'em! :-)

    That's cute, yo!  I seriously could NOT make a decision about a cake topper so finally I scrapped it completely.  This is how I justified adding more cupcakes to my order.  Yum!

    Really cute.  We did flowers.  I never even looked or thought about a topper (largely because of my non-existent bride gene)

    Very cute and unique!  I haven't given a cake topper much thought yet.  We are planning on having cupcakes, so we probably won't have a topper.

    That looks so cool!! I totally love it. It will be a cute trinket to have displayed at your home after the wedding too.


    FI is (somewhat) Manx (Isle of Man) and I'm Persian. Both are types of cats, so we're going to have little kittie figurines on the top of our cake. People will probably not get it, but we think it's cute :)

    Your cake topper is sooooo cute! It is driving me crazy trying to find a topper, I am trying to find a kilted man and a woman and they are all sooooo expensive or the woman looks like she was a bride in 1800's!! (Think high neck and long sleeves)

    I am very jealous that your topper is so cute!

    Super cute!  I must have the same gene as queenklm and vfriday, we also just used flowers.

    That is extremely cute! Loving the travel theme!

    Our cake topper was part of our Vegas-themed cake, and was edible sugar paste (but it snapped off in my hand as I was about to bite into it, and smashed into smithereens on the floor!)
