    I had a friend that got married there about 2 years ago.  What sort of information are you looking for?  I do remember her telling me that she had to rent everything, including a bathroom, silverware, plates etc.  let me know what type of info you are looking for and i'll be sure to ask her and get back to you.

    I looked into it, and the PP is right.  It's several thousand just to rent the venue, and then you need to bring in everything else.  Ended up being quoted something like $30,000 for 150 people.

    Obviously, I passed on that.

    i priced it as well, and i agree, it seemed overly expensive for what it was.  we knew we'd have a small reception, and i just didn't like the options they had for the price it would cost.

    that being said, if you are interested in another vineyard, we ended up having our reception at Haight Brown Vineyard in Litchfield, and it was MUCH more inexpensive, and imho, a better venue.  i'd be happy to give you details if you'd like :)

    I also looked at Jonathan Edwards but becasue of all of the cordination and costs, Ryan and I voted against it. We decided on the Old Saybrook Point Inn... the cost id great and it is not far from teh Mystic area!

    My wedding was at Jonathan Edwards.  It's true you need to rent everything, but your caterer will do all the coordination.  All I had to do was pick vendors (which were all fantastic, I'd recommend every one of them).  It definitely wasn't cheap, but it can probably be done for under $30k, depending on the size of your guest list.  I think we spent $40-$45k for 90 people, but I splurged on a few things.
