Im going to have a very eventful wedding weekend. My parents are coming in from IL and friday my mother,fmil, and I are going to go try on my dress for the first time with Mary Golden in liverpool. I really hope she is expecting us because like you guys said...she never called to confirm.
Saturaday we are all going to Ventosa for our food tasting. Which im a little disappointment that Ventosa is going to charge us 25 dollars for each additional person we bring to the tasting. Is that the norm? The FI and I taste for free.
And finally Sunday I am going shopping with mom and FMIL for their dresses. Should be fun : )

Sounds like fun.

Yeah... Mary is just weird about the phone thing. I'm sure she will be there.... but it is nerve racking to not have that confirmation. I feel ya there.

As for the tasting fee, that's ridiculous. Glenora allowed Kevin and I to bring 2 guests... and if we were bringing both sets of parents, they would have allowed 4. What a bunch of BS. You are probably dropping 10K on your wedding there (I know they are pricey... they were one of our possibles, but knocked them off the list b/c of their prices).... I mean come on... they're really going to charge you for the tasting meal. pffffff meanies.

Let's see...I looked at wedding rings, got all excited about one, and now not so excited because the ring in my size is $300 more than their sample ring (because platinum has increased so much in cost recently). And the sample ring was already hella expensive. So we are definitely going to NYC's Diamond District right after Memorial Day to comparison shop -- we are pretty sure we can get a much better deal there. Hoping to have this done soon!

And my mother met with the invitations lady again and submitted everything I corrected on our proofs (which I might have to pay for the second time around--wtf, it's a PDF?!). But we are on our way to them being printed. Hopefully they will have no errors and I won't want to change anything this time around.

That's about it. As for tasting fees, we had to pay $70 for the 2 of us to taste! It gets deducted from our wedding bill so that's good, but if we didn't end up going with that caterer we would have lost the money. That sucks that your venue is charging extra for your parents though.

This Saturday is my Bachelorette party!!! Woo! If anyone is lookin for something to do this weekend were doing dinner @ 730 followed by Daisy Dukes!! Come drink your face off with me!

Friday I need to meet with my florist to go over final details

Sunday (Im an idiot I know) I need to go to my reception hall to set up final details and my my 30 day (oops) payment.

Should be a good time!

Paid the photographer in full yesterday (Ouch)! Scheduled engagement pics for May 29th. We probably should have had these done awhile ago but I wanted to lose some weight first! I also paid a good chunk toward my dress. I was really hoping to be more productive this week, but I guess it's better than nothing.

Hmm... I forgot to post mine. I guess I haven't really done much this week. Hmm... about that.

Well, I did just write my final payments for the limo/party buses, church musician and church.

Approved the final copy of our e-pic guest book. I think I might do a seperate post about this, because it was pretty darn awesome.

Last dance lesson tonight. Dear God, please let me not break anything.

Final dress fitting (I think) in about an hour.... although I am debating asking her ot add some cups to keep the girls looking perky and fabulous. Dunno yet.

Oh wait... yeah... had my shower on Sunday and am alllllmost done writing Thank Yous.... whew. What a relief.

Kev's b-party is this weekend and (hopefully) we will finally get around to doing the seating chart.

Hmm... when I type it all out, it makes me look more productive than I thought.

And dont forget Zumba to get our butts (or at least mine) into shape! After my dress fitting yesterday, oh lord. I could stand to lose 3-4 lbs and the dress would be perrrrfect!

Kev is just playing golf with his buddies then hanging out at our friend's house (they have an AWESOME man cave!!!)

That's it. I'm doing boobs. I mean cups. Yep... them. For sure.

After the way I have eaten this week (ahem Chipoltle for lunch AGAIN and tiramasu and cake at my shower)... I am going to look like a little fat sausage stuffed into my dress today. Not cool.

Definitely need to step it up with the Zumba. And if it will ever stop raining I would love to start running again. Mother Nature is effffing with me right now. I am a sissy and I don't run in cold rainy yuck weather. Come on, woman... bring on the sunshine. My dress (actually the poor tortured zipper on my dress) is depending on it.

I ordered the invitations and they should be in next week some time. I was able to get the background to be white instead of pink.

My FI all by himself went to look at Men's Wearhouse, I was so proud of him.

I completed one registry (BB&B)

I am calling someone to set up a hair trial run

An order with my personalized napkins, cake topper & cake cutting tools came in, that was exciting.

I'm researching jewelry options right now.
