Shower Ideas....

My sister in law/moh is throwing us a couples shower. I was thinking I wanted the theme to be "A Night of Decadence." I want our guests to bring gifts for our honeymoon. I'm brainstorming ideas and was wondering if you guys could help.
I was thinking we could play poker for prizes. Also, for food I was thinking LOTS of chocolate. Does anyone have any other ideas for how to make this vision come to life?

    That's very generous of her to throw you a shower, just make sure you're only offering advice if she's asking for it.

    The chocolate sounds like a great idea. I think lots of candles would be great too.
     
    Do your guests like poker?

    What exactly do you envision as "gifts for the honeymoon"? The first thing that comes to my mind is lingerie (especially given your theme) and it would make me massively uncomfortable to bring lingerie to a couples shower (disclaimer: I'm pretty shy so even women-only lingerie showers aren't my favorite).

    Or if guests bring champagne/wine, how will you bring a bunch of bottles on a trip? I just don't see the logistics of that happening.
