Not to hijack the not-Monday post, but I inadvertantly found you some awesomely pretty purple dishes at IKEA:



You should be able to find them if you have an IKEA close to you...unfortunately, they're not available online.

I got the larger bowls and plates, as well as the smaller bowls. The plates and larger bowls are kinda thin, but the smaller bowls are nice and thick and really great for soup/dessert/salad. The clear colored glass looks really pretty too.

    I am imagining the knotties getting ahold of Jeana's registry and replacing all of the iterms with purple ones.  She is opening presents at her shower and...

    I'm going to have to hide the password for our registry from my mom to keep her from changing all our stuff to stuff with fish on them.

    Those are adorable, Yeah we can just make a run of it.  I have this paper to write and I cant concentrate with the apartment being such a mess full of disorganized boxes! AHH

    I LOVE the purple le Creuset! I couldn't find purple at Williams-Sonoma, so I ordered an orange one instead. Orange is nice, too.

    I'm a big fan of color, lots of color! But it can be hard for me to resist getting everything in purple when it's available.

    Our (potential) bedroom set is red, gold, and purple... our dining room is blue, green, yellow, and orange... our kitchen is pretty much every color of the rainbow, and Josh wants our living room to be in cool colors (blue, green, purple, and maybe a hint of yellow).

    He is vetoing my obsession with having purple and red in both the living room and bed room. Cry

    I can TOTALLY see you guys replacing everything with purple on my registry. I do wish I had someone to go over my registries and make sure I have everything covered and I'm not being unreasonable or inadvertantly ordering 4 of the same things.

    I'm happy to go over your registry for you...between a bunch of my gfs getting married over the last few months, and my mom getting uber-wedding-excited, I think I could spot if you needed to add/edit/get rid of anything.

    That, and I can live vicariously through your registry :)

    I finally bit the bullet and bought something off a registry today, I hate it. It was so boring and I am not used to buying lame gifts. I managed to make the best of it though and now I've been picking out little things to decorate the wrapping with.

    I know why their registry was lame though, they want everyone to go over to their honeymoon registry instead.
