Catering

Does anyone know of a good catering in Port Huron/Lexington area?

Re: Catering

  • Welcome to the Detroit board.

We haven't had a lot of brides asking in the thumb area. My one cousin lives somewhat near there, but her daughter's wedding was in the Grand Rapids area since that is where she lived after college.

I would only be able to do what you could do, which is google caterers in those areas. However, in the northern metro-Detroit suburbs, there is Crank's Catering in Shelby Twp, website here: http://www.crankscatering.com/ . They do a lot of off-site catering, might have a delivery fee, and the food was very good when they were in my area.

Achatz is very famous for their pies which are delicious. They came up as a general caterer when I searched, link here: http://local.yahoo.com/info-16139288-achatz-catering-casco

Neither of these are in the Port Huron area. You could check into B&B's, as often in "under served" catering areas, they do catering. There is also the River Crab, owned by the Muer family who own a lot of restaurants in the Michigan area. This is in St Clair Michigan, not far from Port Huron, link here: http://www.muer.com/rivercrab-bluewaterinn/index.asp

The Thomas Edison Inn is in Port Huron, again, not familiar with their prices or whether they do outside catering, link here:

    Hopefully others have more input.

    Good luck.

<div>Chef Shells was really good when I had their food at an event several years ago. Back then they were just a small operation. <a href="http://www.chefshells.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.chefshells.com/</a></div><div>
</div><div>One to try if they will go that far is Chef Raymone Catering. We are using them for our wedding and the food is great and very resonably priced. <a href="http://chefraymoneinc.com/6501.html" rel="nofollow">http://chefraymoneinc.com/6501.html</a></div><div>
</div><div><a href="http://chefraymoneinc.com/6501.html" rel="nofollow">Also a lot of the golf courses up there and a few resturants do catering. If I can recall any names I will repost. Good luck. </a></div>
