I didn't want to continue the 63 post message, so I thought I would start a new one. What is going on here? Sorry I am late in the game, but I would like to understand a few things. Been a member since 2008, getting married in 2013? And he came on here to fight with people and explain why he is upset that his sister makes more money then him, by being a teacher? How am I doing so far?
Re: Can anyone explain this Brad character to me?
In short, he's just not worth your time - he does not add anything to the forums, does not offer recommendations, does not illude anything to his wedding, stirs the pot by going against popular opinion just to see us all freak out. Though there are few moments, I have agreed with him so I will give him that.
A couple other random facts:
- his fi's dress must be approved by him - no tulle!
- his fi wears a diamond so large and blinding that they worry she would get robbed of it in yankees stadium
- his fi is in top shape, better than all of us
- his nieces are the real loves of his life where it is almost creepster sounding
This teacher stuff is OT, he didn't just come on here to discuss that.

Hopefully others will add random facts since my brain is fried this morning

First let me say, I have agreed with Brad lately, and I thought he was actually becoming some what normal on here.
He hates HATES venues that are considered "wedding factories" no matter how good the reviews are.
To come off what Lola said, he will ask for recco after recco after recco, but will NEVER give one, well except the graycliff, any time someone needs a recco, he will most of the time chime in with something bad to say about it.
He hates "A+" reviews because he thinks that NO vendor will go over and beyond the call of duty and no one is that good.
[QUOTE]He's getting married this fall, at the Graycliff. All other details about his wedding (what photographer he's using, etc.) are top secret. He is very budget-conscious. He's an accountant. He loves his nieces (and nephews?). He likes the Yankees. He has very bad spelling and grammar. He got a 740 on his math SAT and could have gotten a full scholarship to become a math teacher. He works a lot of overtime. I think his fiancee has a large chest but I could have that wrong. But as far as what goes through his head, I can't explain that. Your guess is as good as any of ours!

I remember that being said...
Danielle-we all have tried to ignore him (I think most have even blocked him at points) but as much as I would love to its the old train wreck adage.

Cheryl, I agree. I was starting to feel the same way. KLE and I would talk about how we were starting to agree with Brad. How quickly the tide turns.
Oh well, all we can do is laugh at it now, girls.
Brad never leaves as many times as we have suggested that it would be a good idea to....he always comes back to the board to create more drama!

bahahaha...kristen, I love it!
I'm a newbie. Well, not a newbie, but I don't post very often, I mostly just lurk. I've seen references to this Brad character in the past, but found it hilarious when I stumbled across him on the boards last night.

His whole rant about teachers and cops was just laughable. I loved that his supporting evidence was his great education and SAT scores. I wonder who provided him with the tools that got him his wonderful scholorships and and those lovely math scores; could it have been his teachers? (For the record: I'm not a teacher. Anyone who is however, deserves a crown.) And then he chucks his own sister under the bus saying that she's less educated so its not right that she makes more money. Yikes, wouldn't want to be his sister.
And the cop thing, seriously? Anyone who risks their own life to protect another life, in my opinion, deserves the money they earn. And as a woman who sends her FI out very night to patrol the steets...isn't it just the most comforting thing to know that my FI is risking his life for such an appreciative citizen like Brad? Awesome.
On a non-psycho note, thanks for all the help and tips with your posts ladies!
[QUOTE]Let's see what else ... He went to Montclair State and works at Toys R Us. Unfortunately, his 640 GMAT score kept him out of his first-choice MBA programs, so he goes to Rutgers.

OHHHH, I hope he was not one of my classmates, either or, I went to Montclair State for undergrad, then to Rutgers for the MBA program
