  Personally I think the nicest hotel in Philly is by far The Ritz Carlton, but it isn't going to be cheap.  Plus if you're a Top Chef fan... the restaurant that is in the lobby of The Ritz Carlton has Jen Carroll as the executive chef.

  I saw it and if I had a reason to stay overnight in the city I'd jump on it...but I get the cash thing!
  
  I have also stayed at the Courtyard Marriot downtown... that is also very nice

  hmm, I checked further and that Palomar hotel has my wedding night as a blacked out date.  Booo. 
  
  I think I might just go home that night to my kiddies and save it for the honeymoon!
