  • I haven't been going to the gym like I should but I have increased my yoga intake from 2 days to about 4. It's actually a great stress reliever. I am trying to get FI to start jogging with me outside on the weekends but he prefers the tread mill... (which I call it the death walk lol). Happy Tuesday All!!!

  • I have been slacking so much. Today after work I am going to the gym for like the first time in a few weeks. So bad..
    Just trying to find the motivation which is stupid because I am so unhappy with myself but trying to get myself there is the hard part.

    Anyone have snack suggestions? I have been caving lately when it comes to that.

  • I've been on a kick of trying more of the stuff I've pinned onto my "Healthier Nom Noms" board on pinterest :-) Yesterday I made healthy ice cream and still have some in the freezer.

    I also have a couple of Jillian Michaels' workout videos in my netflix queue that I really want to try. I get bored easily, so I laways want options.

    Becky & Amber- I usually have string cheese, nuts, and lots of fruit as my snacks :-) I've also gotten into the Oatfit brand of oatmeal (they have it at my local Costco), usually oatmeal doesn't fill me up at all- but this stuff does and each packet is 100 calories, plus it actually tastes good and isn't filled with artificial sweeteners.

  • I'm down only about 3lbs (which isn't very exciting) and I was +1 this week.  I'm kind of done worrying too much about the number on the scale though because my clothes have been fitting way better & my stomach is flat for the first time since I was like 20.  

    I joined the gym 3 weeks ago & have been going at least 4 times a week, I actually really love it.  I ran 2 miles straight for the first time in my life last week & signed up for a 5K in May.  I'm also up to 60 crunches & 20 (girl) push-ups.  I'm looking forward to trying out a class sometime soon.  Unfortunately the classes at my gym start a little later than I like to be there. 

    As for snacks, I bring everything I plan on eating for the day to work with me.  When I get hungry mid-morning, I have an apple.  In the afternoon, I have a banana & sometimes a granola bar too if I'm going to the gym shortly after & need an energy boost.  Another idea is to buy a big bag of baby carrots & then separate it into smaller bags to take with you each day.  Same thing with grapes. 

    Bringing my own food to work with me keeps me from straying off course & giving into bad temptations.  I track everything I brought with me first thing in the morning & it helps me see how many points I have left for any additional snacks or to have a different dinner or a yummy dessert.



  • I am just starting (finally) on my weightloss. I am more geared towards a vacation we just planned as its closer and more in my face then the wedding. We are doing things a little backwards and honeymooning this year lol.  I use Dailey Burn on my phone to track my food and my workouts. Im starting with the couch to 5k as I normally run a 5k every May. I look forward to reading ujp more on how everyone is doing and what they are doing for eworkouts and food.

  • I've been really on track with my weightloss, thankfully. I was so unhappy with myself before I started this, and I honestly feel great already. I've lost 35 lbs so far, but I feel like I've lost may more. I cut my calories down to 1300 daily, I walk every day for an hour and every other day I do what my FI and I like to call "hurricane training" lol.. it consists of latter running, kettle bells, push ups, jump roping, squats, star jumps.. etc. Basically it's hell, but so worth it in the end.

    Yesterday I started using the African Mango, liquid version. I take 1 tbsp 15 min before breakfast and 1 tbsp 15 min before lunch. I will see this weigh in if it has done anything.

    I'm just excited to almost be under 200!

  • I have been slacking so bad since Spring Break and I'v been getting super bad headaches again which I'm thinking is my bad choice in food ... I had every intention of going tonight but had a nasty headache this morning, and my monthly showed up 2 days early which is odd since I'm on the pill but now has made me crampy :(

    Tomorrow I am supposed to go to Zumba otherwise I will still go and just do light cardio

    I don't know if I have lost weight at this point I won't step on the scale it will only get me down
  • I have been trying to stick to my WW, but I haven't done so well. It gets tough when you go out of town or to a restaurant without a nutritional guide to help you figure it out. I started fresh yesterday and am hoping that since were going to the gym again and I'm drinking water and not eating as much because I'm in school, that I should start seeing results. I just did a spinning class with FI and a few girls from my local board...it worked me good. I am exhausted and sore and I sweat...a lot! I know, gross, but it kicked my ass!
  • i have had a hard time getting myself on track as well. i hope something clicked yesterday... when i thought of it... OMG. i have been snacking like crazy... not thinking of my B.L.T's.. (bites, licks and tastes)and i have lost over 120 pounds. put about 35 back on.
    When I lost my weight before... i cut out peanut butter, pretzels, cheese and nuts. so i am back to that. It makes a craky me for a while.. but... i am in the process of buyiing my dress.. and i don't want to be unhappy shopping!
    I will do it!
