**Karebear852k3/Mystic Brides**

Just wanted to say hi! I noticed a couple of your posts. We're getting married at the Seaport the week after you. So exciting!
Keep me posted with your details- maybe we'll meet at the tasting? I know that they used to have tastings in January with the old caterer but I'm not sure if that's true anymore since they switched.

    Hey!

We were going to get married on the 18th as well, but we wanted to have the bridal suite (area to get ready) because we live almost an hour away and Kim said it was already booked - I wonder if that was you lol :)  Either way, I'm really excited about the location, it seems like a really great deal :) I would love it if they had a tasting, I hope they are planning on doing that - it would be great to test their food and meet other couples.  Which location are you doing your wedding at?  Our wedding is at the Seamen's Inne (now called Latitude 41* apparently) Morgan Suites, because we're having a smaller/intimate gathering, and we're going with a slight nautical theme due to the location (without going overboard, pun fully intended lol)....we're going to have like nautical invitations and centerpieces and have a knot-tying ritual during our ceremony...but our colors (chosen by me of course lol) are purple (lilac/lavender) and pink (light pink) so it won't be totally nautical.  I'm just happy I won't have to put the word "Seamen" on my wedding invitations lol

What about you, do you have any details ironed out yet?

Hahaha that's hilarious!! I had no idea about the name change. This is why I love finding Mystic Brides on here. I'm sorry that I already told my friend about the name Seamen's Inne...the jokes were relentless in the beginning.
We booked there like 2 years in advance of our wedding date so sometimes I feel out of touch with what's happening there.
We're thinking of about 150 people so we booked the River Room w/the North Lawn. We're also not going "overboard" with the nautical theme. I figured the place has so much character already, I really don't need to add to it. Our colors are black and white...I'm thinking of leaning toward the elegant side of "rustic elegance" and I may have some starfish or sand dollars for decoration.
I'm not really set on the details as far as decorations go but we have most of our vendors booked.
Good luck with planning and keep in touch!

Oh my god, the jokes on my end were terrible lol....I don't think my MOH will shut up about it haha

I'm way jealous of you with the River Room/North Lawn combo!  That view must be amazing, and the outdoors (I'm gushing lol)...I just don't have the money for that and we're keeping the guest list way down to keep costs way down.  But I can't wait to see what the renovations look like and the Morgan Suites looked beautiful plus full use of the Seaport for evening/sunset pictures = yes please?!  hehe

Yeah I'm a little lost on the decorations too, but I figure no matter what I do, I'm going to keep it simple and elegant.  That's kind of my view of the whole day :)

Good luck and keep me posted :)
