Accountability- Saturday

Hi ladies!! How'd it go yesterday? I did pretty well- remembered breakfast and had a yummy Banana Nut Crunch granola with soy milk. For lunch I had leftovers with nuts and an apple. For dinner I had fake chicken patties (I'm a vegetarian). Overall it was a good eating day!

  • It was a bad, bad day. I mentioned yesterday how hungry i was so I went out to our local Mexican place (never ate breakfast) and pigged out on a greasy taco salad (hey it's a salad right????) Then I proceeded to skip dinner and get absolutely trashed with FI. Oh and there were potato chips.

  • yesterday was ok. i had lunch at jason's deli with my dad (we do every friday since he doesn't work on fridays and it's our way to stay connected), so that was healthy. i had a bit of a large snack when i got home because i left work early and got sort of bored. then we went to the gym and i had a good session, 30 mins of cardio and 45 minutes of strength training.

    we went out for dinner so dan could ask nick to be a GM. i got to talk to Nick's girlfriend and get to know her a bit more, so that was good. but we went to a bar/restaurant place so i had fries and we all got a beer with dinner so that probably wasn't super healthy. but it's friday.

    today i'll have oatmeal for breakfast, pb sandwich or soup for lunch, and then i'm not sure about dinner. since we went out lastnight i'll probably end up cooking tonight so it should be alright. and i think we will make it to the gym at some point.
    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

  • I did pretty well yesterday.   I stayed under my calorie goal, despite having nachos for dinner and a little ice cream for dessert.  I was going to take the day off from excercising, but then I ended up playing on the wii fit for a while last night. 

    Today is going to be hard though.  We are having dinner at Red Lobster for my Dad's birthday.  Yikes!  And I made a cake this morning...

  • I've done really well this whole week!  I'm so proud of myself.  I've been trying really hard to cook all of our meals now so I can control the calorie content.  Yesterday I had leftover chicken and rice casserole (411 cal/serving) and then we did 1/3 lbs burgers for dinner.  I've noticed when I actually eat larger meals I don't snack.  Who knew?  Haha!

    If anyone wants the casserole reciepe let me know--it really is amazing.

  • I did alright...the weekends are always hard!

    I had greek yogurt for breakfast, subway sandwich for lunch and a chicken gyro (Tzaziki is probably horrible... but SO DELICIOUS) and 10 small fries (I'm impressed I was able to stop at that lol) and a little of nonfat frozen yogurt.

  • I just want everyone to know that even though I had a horrible eating day yesterday I didn't gain an ounce! I actually lost about half a pound??? I have no idea. Anyway, I'm the first to admit I'm the worst at dieting/eating but at least I didn't gain. Anyway, today is not really any better. I didn't pig out (at least), but kind of the opposite (which is also bad). All I had today (its 6pm) is half an egg and a piece of bacon, two diet cokes, and a beer. HELP ME. We are planning on going to this german hall type place tonight so maybe I'll try to get something healthy but I'm sure I'll just have giant pretzels and huge beers all night. My major problem is my horrible eating habits. It seems like my MO is that I don't want to get fat, so I starve myself all day and pig out on junk food and beer. Is there a book or website or something I should read? I really do have the worst eating habits ever. Advice?

  • hmm I didnt every a large quantity yestrday but I did have some homemade pb cookies. Sweets are my ultimate weakness! Maybe I'll try to do better today oh wait its 845 AM and I've already eaten a cookie I was offered by a co-worker at work! CRAP! maybe tommorow?
