Wedding Invitations & Paper

Invitations have arrived and...

I need to vent a bit.
The actual wedding invitation/reply card/accommodations card is perfect, exactly what we wanted.  BUT, we also ordered "Welcome dinner" invitations to go out to our immediate family/bridal party/oot guests and "Welcome" is misspelled in one part.  ARGH!  So frustrating!  Thankfully it's only 35 people that are getting them and not the whole guest list, but i'ts wicked annoying.  Do you think I should mention it to my invitation lady?   Or just let it be and play dumb?  oh geez...

Re: Invitations have arrived and...

  • If you're paying for the word 'Welcome' to be spelled correctly, it should be spelled correctly.  I'd mention it!

  • You're responsible if:
You saw a proof and approved it
You refused the suggested proof and the form you submitted is incorrect

    The printer is responsible if:
She did not offer a proof and the order form is correct.

  • Um, YES, you should say something!  (Unless of course like pp said you approved it and missed it then.)  I would NOT send out invites with something misspelled if I  knew about it ahead of time. No way.
