Wedding Dress Dry Cleaning

Hi Ladies. I was married last year and never got around to having my dress cleaned. Now it needs to be done so that we can get it out of our spare bedroom.

Can you ladies give me a ballpark idea of what it cost to have your wedding dress cleaned?

The bottom of my dress is pretty dirty from picking up dirt on the dancefloor! :)

I am in the Dayton area, so I would also like to hear any recs of places to go if you have them.

Thanks!

I haven't done that either but I know when my mom picked up my dress the day before my wedding the seamstress told my mom it was about $250

EEK! I knew it wasnt going to be cheap, maybe thats why I have put it off for so long??? :) I guess I am hoping that if I get ideas NOW of how much its going to cost me, then I can let it soak in over the next few weeks and not be so traumatized when I actually go and take the dress in....

I've heard Heider does a good job. I don't know about their pricing, but they'll do a free consultation. http://www.heidercleaners.com/dayton-oh-wedding-gowns.htm

I know this doesn't help, but I also got married last year (July 2011) and I still haven't cleaned my dress, either!  Been putting it off.

Anthonys is apart of the associates of wedding gown specialists. They cleaned my dress (which was a floor model dress and disgusting) and it was pristine, they cost around $150 for cleaning and pressing but after the wedding they put it in a special box to preserve it. I wuld call them, they are awesome and they specalize in wedding gowns.
They are located in the Sharonville area, my GPS took me a weird way but basically its right by the french resturant La Petite French resturant
