Cake....i'm looking for inspiration....are you doing square or round?

I'm doing square because I love the look but generally square can feed more than round and I don't want to spend a whole lot on the cake. I haven't found my inspiration yet but I'm still looking.

I am doing round, 4 tier with half a sheetcake in the back. Can't decide whether I want white frosting like in the photo, or lavender. Here is our cake inspiration photo & our cake topper:

Instead of pink, the stripes will be turquiose. Not certain of what flowers just yet.

The cake topper to have our names in the front wheel.
Edit: frosting will be buttercream, no fondont.

Here is ours...we will be adding edible light blue butterflies that will be placed up the front of the cake.

I haven't ordered my cake yet but would love this one. Imight make it a 2 tier not sure and the 2nd from bottom would have the pink flowers from my dress

its a horrible pic Im sorry but all we have for now to show...fell in love yesterday with it

and their marble flavor is white/choc/strawberry..perfect!

but not the bow on top..will be doing our own cake topper

This is pretty much what our cake will look like, minus the unnecessarily huge flower on top:

We are doing a small two-tiered cake for us to cut, and cupcakes for our guests. Our cake will be red velvet with a cream cheese filling, and the cupcakes will be half red velvet, half white.

This is my inspiration cake.. But I will be using silver swirls (to match my dress) instead of the stars. Icing will be white with white beads along the edges. I currently have white fondant flowers with a lavendar center on the top, but I'm considering putting it on top of the bottom tier like the photo. For some reason, I really like that look better. Flavors are butter pecan and italian creme.

Our cake picture inspiration is in my bio. Our theme is vintage country, and one of the main things we are using throughout is a birch tree with our initials carved into it. The cake is going to look like slices of birch, with one of them having our initials.

This is our inspiration, but with 4 tiers:

The ribbons will be lavender and light blue, and the flowers will be lavender roses and light blue hydrangea. Our tiers will also be straight instead of staggered.

I was leaning towards a round cake, but this was one of those random things that FI actually had an opinion on, haha. He usually lets me do whatever, but he said he liked the square tiers better, and I didn't care either way, so square it is
