A Prayer Question for You!

Morning sisters in Christ!

I have a question: it seems like there are a ton of people in my life that need prayers recently.. I almost can't keep track! When someone asks you to pray for them, do you say a little prayer on the spot? Do you add them to a prayer list? Do you keep praying for them?

FMIL keeps a GIANT prayer list written down and I'm almost wondering if she has the right idea... Horribily enough, sometimes I feel like I forget people when I'm praying.

Basically, I'd love to know how you keep your prayers straight, lol. Silly question I guess but I truly feel like I need some opinions on this!

Happy FRIDAY!

I typically say a prayer on the spot.  I would hate to say I'd pray for them and then forget!

I pray on the spot, but I really wish I was able to keep a prayer journal so I could remember to pray for everyone more than once.

I have started several times it just has always become... weird? I don't know the right word.  But I still had troubles remembering everyone.  Unless I took it with me and whipped it out when ever I saw a new request it was still hard for me to remember them all later.

hmmm maybe I should find something on my phone...

I say a prayer on the spot, and I add them to my prayer journal.  I leave enough room next (or under) the request to add the answer or continuance later (ex- if something we've been praying for for a while isn't necessarily a yes or no, but something changes, I'll write the new date next to the original request so I'll know where it is when I look back, and I'll write the original date next to the update).

I keep an ongoing list. It's tucked inside my Bible.

I typically say a prayer on the spot. (mostly because then I won't forget). But it depends sometimes I will say multiple prayers.

I say a prayer on the spot and then when I pray each day, I sometimes put them into groups (Ex: I always say, "all the girls on theknot Christian board who have requested prayer.") I know it's not as good as praying for each one by name, but you're right, it is hard to keep them all straight. That's why I say one on the spot so I at least pray specifically at least once. But a prayer journal or something would be good! Except for the fact that I often pray while I'm driving and I wouldn't be able to read the prayer requests while driving haha.

I pray on the spot and as I think about it.  I'm not good at writing down requests.  I should write them down though.
