I need an opinion...

I wanted to tie ribbons on my cocktail hour picks. I have light pink satin ribbon already or should I get light pink grosgrain ribbon? What do you guys think? These are the picks http://www.pickonus.com/312coloredtoothpick-1.aspx except the top is pink.

I know most of you will think this is insane, but I wanted to add a little something extra during cocktail hour and at the desert table. I think this is easer than doing the paper flags.

The grosgrain ribbon is about $3 for 100 yards

  • Honestly i wouldn't. That would look funny to me, plus i am a germ freak & ribbons can hold a lot of germs. I would not want them near my mouth.

  • If it's thin satin ribbon, I think that would be fine. If not, I'd go with the grosgrain ribbon.

  • I agree with Midge.
  • I don't really know what you want to do, but I used grosgrain ribbon on stir sticks and did this (clicky). They look awesome!

    Your stir sticks look fab!

I could make those too. I have thicker grosgrain ribbon which is too big for the picks.

I would have to use 1/4" ribbon. Would you guys really be grossed out by it? Now I'm curious.
