Car Fire on Rt 287 South Plainfield last night

Did anyone happen to see this?
My sister & 11 yr old niece were trapped in the car & a man pulled them out and saved them.
Within seconds the car blew so this man was reallty there at the right time. After he pulled them out my sister said he pretty much disappeared. She wants so desperately to find him & thank him!
If any1 saw anything or knows someone who did please let me know, so we can find & thank this good samaritian /guardian angel!!!

    Oh my, I am glad that your sister and niece are okay.  That was wonderful of that man to save them, I didn't know about it, but if I hear anything I will let you know.

    Oh my Gosh...I'm glad they're ok and got out.
    With all the negativity in the world, it's so nice to hear things like this still happen (not the car obviously, but the good samaritan part).

    Thank u everyone...I am posting everywhere hoping we can find him to atleast say thank you. It's so insane I still can't believe it happened. And would you believe she just got her license yesterday....She is 27 & was always too scared to drive. Finally she studied for months - even failed her 1st road test. She just passed her test yesterday.

    Oh my gosh how scary!!!!
    Thank GOD they are alright!
    This is one of my biggest fears..... it reall is.
    If you don't mind me asking... what kind of car was it? Was it old? Did they have any warning at all this was about to happen?

    EDIT: just read the part about your sister just getting her license yesterday!!! My god.. my heart reall goes out to her! Poor thing!

    Wow what an incredible story! I am glad your sister and niece are ok. She is probably never going to drive again if that was her first day and something traumatic like that happened. I wouldn't blame her in the least!

    Wow....what an amazing story. Glad to hear she is OK. It is stories like this that make me believe there are angels on earth!

    OMG....I drove past this right after it happened last night!  The police and fire department were just getting there and I was hoping no one was trapped inside!!

    And I have to say....I did not see anyone but a woman and a young girl there talking to the police.  No man...no other car.

    When me and my sister were driving home from work we saw the smoke as far up as the Gothals Bridge (Exit 13 on the Turnpike).  I noticed that the smoke was really black when we passed exit 10 on the Turnpike so I figured it was near 287.  Thank God they are ok!  Hopefully they are able to find who ever helped them out of the car.
