So, we don't actually have a venue yet. I know it's horrible. I've been talking to the local drive-in owner about doing the wedding there. He's been really open to the idea and today we are meeting to talk it out, but now that I've got the meeting I'm having second thoughts.
If we did it at the dive-in where would the ceremony be? Where would the reception be? Everyone I've told has asked if they are just going to sit in their cars during the ceremony and watch it on the big screen. That is not at all what I want. I wanted everyone to be a part of the ceremony. Otherwise, why not elope and do an AHR with everyone watching it on the big screen?
I'd like to use the theater aspect in some way, I'm just not sure how. I think it would be kind of cool to screen a movie later in the evening if the owner will allow it. I was thinking before that we could use it for a photo slideshow. Maybe some pretty scenery for the ceremony?

Originally I thought if we do end up having it at the movie theater I could swap the books for old movie reel's. However, turns out they are kind of expensive. Would it be dumb to have books at a movie theater? Or should I keep looking for movie reels?
