  I was referring to the original poster.  A lot of people are not aware that Fairbanks has a different terrain than the Anchorage area and may be disappointed if they haven't seen the area themselves, which is why I ask.  But, the summer weather there is much better than down here, that's for sure!!

  Yeah, I've been to Fairbanks (and Anchorage).  My fiance is actually from Fairbanks, and his family wants us to get married there (since we're having it in AK anyway) but, having been to both Fairbanks and Anchorage, I don't think I will find the kind of venue I'm dreaming of in Fairbanks.  However, I thought if we had a planner, maybe they would be able to show us a few Fairbanks locations in addition to Anchorage locations.

  I live in Juneau and am using a wedding coordinator from Anchorage, she is very highly recommended. Her name is Jessica and she knows her stuff, she will be able to customize a wedding package to fit your needs. Something Blue Wedding and Event Coordinating
