Davids bridal issues?

I bought my dress & Bridesmaids dresses from DB & love them. I haven't had issues but I have recently been reading about the alterations being horrible from here! Anyone in south Jersey have a problem using any of the local DBs? (Mays Landing, Maple Shade)

    I myself didn't have any issues with a bm dress alteration at the Maple Shade DB but that was also 9 years agao but I have heard some horror stories about their alterations.  If you would rather not chance it, you could try Fashion Stitch-I have heard nothing but good things about them.

    I am currently going through Davids Bridal now for my dress + bridesmaids dress and so far it has been fine. I had one problem with my dress that they were able to correct pretty fast. I was very hesitant to go through them because of the horror stories I had but so far they have been very professional + nice.

    I've been to the DB in Mays Landing and Deptford. IMO, Mays Landing is nicer then Deptford and not as pushy. Both stores have associates that can be quite rude. I heard a new employee on her phone when I was there with my MOH. She was saying that she didn't know why she had to be at this stupid place for another two hours that she was bored and tired of people. Good to know that even their new employees don't care about their job. They barely pay attention to you and check up on you. But, I am the type of person who would rather not be bothered so it didn't matter to me that much.

    All of my girls' dresses have come in and we have them in our hands so that was good.

    My friend used the Maple Shade one for her alterations a couple months ago and it wasn't a problem.  She didn't need any real major stuff done (just a bustle and to have it taken in a bit) and it turned out really nice.

    I'm going to take mine to Fashion Stitch.  The brides on this board rave about the owner, Yeon, so much that I just have to go there!

    i second fashion stitch.. i have never heard any good reviews (until now lol) about david's bridal alterations.  i got my dress there but i'm going to yeon.  i have my second fitting next month.. i won't know for sure til then, but i'm not worried :D

    I am using David's Bridal in Mays Landing and I have to say that so far (my wedding is three weeks away)  we have not had ANY problems at all.  My dress didn't need any alterations but the bustle.  They did a great job on my bustle.  My bridesmaids had their dresses altered there and they all came out very nice with no issues. I know sometimes it can be hit or miss, but I have not had any issues at all, hopefully you will be as lucky!  Good Luck! :)
