Who used/is using Timothy Whaley?

What did you think of them? Are they good? I booked with them but for some reason am second guessing my decision.

I was planning on it, but got turned off by their rude and unprofessional inital interaction with me.

I had a pleasant original interaction, but I don't know why I am having second thoughts....I can't put my finger on it.

We are using them and they have been great. We did our e-pics and they turned out fabulous! The pics are even better than the proofs were.

The only hiccup we have had so far was with the photog, but MINOR. We had our meeting with the photog they recommended and he was good, however about a few months after our meeting with him, we got an email that he just found out his niece was getting married on the same day as us. They sent a great email and they asked if we would be willing to meet another photog otherwise the original would stay per his commitment. We said yes and they thanked us more than I ever would have expected. We meet with the new guy and LOVE him. His name is Mike Y and I think we ended up even better!

Everyone has been great, and since booking with them I found out another friend of mine used them for her wedding a couple of years ago and she LOVED them. If you are on facebook, search for their page. They have pics from several of the photographers there, it may give you a better idea!  Obviously, I cannot speak for the wedding itself, but so far they have been great!

Best of luck to you, just remember you still get to meet the photog they recommend and can always walk away at that point if you are not happy!

I'm not using them but I was a bridesmaid in two friends' weddings who both used TW.  Both photographers were a little...unusual (two different photogs).  One asked one of the bridesmaids to braid his hair as we were getting ready to leave for the church...LOL.  But they were pleasant and I know my friends were both pleased with their photos.  Can't speak to their packages/customer service/etc. though...

I can tell you first hand that they do an amazing job.  Not only did the pictures turn out great, but the customer service was awesome (other then they don't have weekend hours).

The pictures I have seen were amazing, and that is what matters. I guess I just think the photogs are kind of kooky, but maybe most artistic people are..

I've heard a lot of mixed things about them from friends and here on TK.

One friend is using them and so far the contact has been good, but I know someone who used them as well and she was disapointed in the quality.  She said she wishes she went with a more "photojournalistic" style.

I personally thought I would go with them for my wedding, but the more research I did, the more I knew they weren't my style.  But hey, everyone has different tastes and you have to do what you feel right about!

If you use Google and type in "Theknot.com" and "Timothy Whaley" you should come up with a bunch of searches.

I am using them.  I'm having kind of a love/hate relationship with them right now.  Things started off wonderfully, then our "reccomended photographer" kept saying he was going to call us and never did.  We had a lot of miscommunication that Tim Whaley himself called to iron out.  I was then put with another photographer who showed up an hour late to our appointment, but had great ideas as well as a great portfolio.  Let's hope he's on time to the wedding!

I also know a few other couples who used them and after everything was said and done, their pictures were amazing.  Hope this helps.

We used them and I wish that we had not. We got the cheapest package that they had, because we didn't need a bunch of hours, and told Eddie that we didn't want an album. He said fine.

We later found out that YOU HAVE TO BUY AN ALBUM. They will not release the proofs without purchasing an album. This is after I told them that my husband lost his job, and we were very short on money. They could care less and are holding our proofs. I was even told that if we don't make a purchase by August, they will send the account to collections.
