Alterations question?

ok i do not need much in terms of alterations so far.

I need the bust pulled in as well as a french bustle, i need probably 7 points (ties) in order for it to hold my train as it is very heavy.

I just got quoted 50-100$ which i do not think is that bad but i wanted to see what others though who have contacted alterations people just to make sure.

Well I'm not sure with the US to Canada exchange rate exactly but to me that sounds like a great price.

That sounds like a very good price. I had my lace gown hemmed up, taken in, breast cups put in, and a normal bustle and it was $104

The current exchange rate is: .98074 (so super close!)

I think that is a great price!

ok thanks ladies, i thought it was decent but just wanted to see where it compared with others, if it is easy for her (doesn't run into snags) she will be on the lower end, but of course if there are issues it will cost closer to the 100$.

That sounds good to me! Mine were $80 for bustle, cups sewn in, and cutting the ties to the corset because they were a little too long (that was only like $5 I think)

I think the cups were $15 or $20 then the rest the bustle. I'm not sure exact prices of each because my mom paid for it while I was changing out of my dress but $80 was our total
