I got a few things accomplished today! I went to the bridal shop with one of my bridesmaids (finally!) and put on my gown to show her what it looks like. I also had her try on a black gown so I could see what it looked like next to mine. It was perfect! There is no doubt about the black bridesmaids dresses. She was really happy to help me and is all excited about the wedding.
I might have changed my mind about the bridesmaid gown that I had already chosen for the girls, but I'm not sure yet. I need to think about it a little.
Soooooo, I got a couple pictures of Kim in a dress that is
not the right dress, but it was just to see if I actually liked the black. Like I said before it was perfect! Here's some pictures....
The girls will have a low bun in their hair with a real black magic rose tucked into it. Two of them already have naturally curly hair so we figured that with the other two we would leave a few strands in the front out and curl them. I got them some pretty dangly earrings and a little sequin purse to put some goody's in. I really wanted to get them a satin purse, but I really can't afford to spend too much more on them. They are really cute though. The good thing is that the purse has a wrist strap. I got some tips from a friend of mine that got married last year, and she told me that having wrist straps or chains on the purses (for bride + maids) is really convenient to have! The purses are 6 inches wide and have rhinestones on the top clasp. They are just the right size to put little things like lip gloss and make-up in. Here's a picture.
