Cashman Photo tour

We're getting married at the Flamingo next November and our package includes a photo tour.
My question is, has anyone used Cashman for their photo tour? And if so, where do they take you?
Thanks!!

They are the photographers used by PH as we were just married there. We hired D Tyler (deacon) for our tour and I am glad. The ceremony and little post ceremony photos do not even compare to Deacon's. Also their prices for photos and the originals is outrageous! Just my opinion....good luck and congrats!

    +1 to what dwhittman said.

If you're not familiar with Cashman, they have monopolistic contracts with a large percentage of strip resorts where you're required to use them if you use that resort's chapel.  Some go as far as barring all third party photography from anywhere on the property (Venetian).  Anyway, the more important issue is that Cashman charges an insane amount of money for digital rights to your photos, i.e. a DVD of all the pictures.  It averages $800 to $1200 per hour of photography and a photo tour could easily be an hour or two, which means you're either going to pay a ton to get lots of pictures or you're going to have to pick and choose and be happy with prints.

Their quality ranges from average to excellent, so I would not get overly concerned with that if you do end up forced to use them, just the pricing makes most Cashman experiences not exactly pleasent.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it.
The cost of the tour and prints are included in the package my FI and I have decided not to pay anything over and above the package with the exception of a DVD of the photos. - now I'm concerned about the cost of this. Any idea how much that is?

Based on the prices I've heard for Cashman photo DVDs and the assumption the you have the Vegas-A-Go-Go package (3 hour tour) I would brace yourself for between $3500 - $5000 for the rights to your photos.

As a reference, I paid under $2500 for 9 hours with my photographer (DTyler) plus the TTD session, and am getting reprint rights to all my pictures.

I couldn't agree more with everyone else.  Cashman is the "Walmart" of photographers.  They are average at best, and occassionally get a great photo.  But overall, they're overpriced and not at all deserving of their monopoly on wedding photography in Vegas.  If you want real, talented, artistic and personal service, go with someone else for every possible thing you can.
