  We sent STD about 10 months out but that was because it was a holiday weekend and most had to travel.

  Yup! 6 months for STD's and 3 months for invites seems like they way to go....

  We did 7 months for STDs. I've heard it's 6-9 months for STDs and 6-8 weeks for invitations, but we got antsy and sent the invites at 9 weeks. (My mom was pushing for FOUR weeks, but we had a ton of OOT guests.)
