My name is Libby, I am planning a wedding for July 4, 2012 in Alexandria Bay, NY. First, thank you all for taking the time to guide me through this process! Wow, there is so much to think about, take care, etc! Anyways, I hope I am on the correct forum and if not please let me know.
We toured the wedding facilities at Boldt Castle over the weekend. So Romantic! While we love the location, etc, the logistics of pulling off a wedding and reception on an island is quite challenging. Boldt Cast does not allow receptions so we must ferry our guest by boat to a private island!
Does anyone have any thoughts on a private house we could rent with a large yard, dock space, with views of the castle? Ideally our reception will end with the annual fireworks over the Castle....I know, the girl doesn't want much does she?
